Windows users should patch everything (look for Windows Update on your start menu). However, as an immediate solution, I highly recommend grc.com, specifically the “Shoot The Messenger” tool, to disable the current problem. Then you can be safely connected for the 10 hours it will take to patch the rest of your system.
