Another good reason to go paperless is Epson’s latest efforts with embedded chips in their inkjet cartridges. “The chip doesn’t indicate the amount of ink left in the cartridge, the association claims, but stops after a number of print runs, even when there is enough ink available for another fifty pages or so.” and “Epson denies any wrongdoing, saying that the chip is preventing users from running out of ink.”. Well, thank God for Epson — last time the ink ran out in one of my cartridges I had a mild stroke from the shock…
