The Latest All-In-One Phone
Ed Steele June 11, 2003
Mitac has just released the Mio 8380 in Taiwan. This little jewel runs Pocket PC and features an 110,000 pixel camera (which can save its pictures on an SD/MMC card or send them to somone in your address book), MP3 player, voice recorder, Internet Explorer, an Intel PXA262 200Mhz processor and 65,000 color TFT screen. On top of all that, it is tri-band, which means that it will work in the U.S. Of course it will be sometime in late Q3 of 2193 before they make it to the U.S., but that shouldn’t stop me from picking one up the next time I head over to Asia.
