Chad Schell, maker of The Intellicart and the Cuttle Cart for the Atari 2600 is at it again with the Cuttle Cart II. The first allowed you to encode Atari 2600 ROMs as audio and play them to the cart in the same way the SuperCharger worked. I have a 6 CD collection of nearly 600 games that can be loaded in this way. His new product cuts out the audio encoding step and lets you plug an MMC card directly into an Atari 7800 cartridge. It will play both 2600 and 7800 games on a 7800 — though I’m concerned about PAL compatibility. If you still have a working Atari 7800 I strongly recommend that you dust it off and have a look at Chad’s latest effort.
